Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar (With Case) (With Gold Hardware, Wine Red)
've been playing a Gibson LP studio for the last 15 years. This, in and of itself, should say something about the quality of the instrument. When you buy a Gibson, for better or for worse, part of what you're paying for is the name. There are (arguably) guitars out there that sound/play as good as the original for a lot less money, but unlike most of the LP clones, the genuine Gibson article retains its value well and is something of an "established commodity" - you know what you're getting.
Stop and think for a moment about some of the areas that have seen the greatest devastation in recent history—say, the last dozen years or so. You might think of a war zone like Afghanistan. You might think of the Japanese shores, ravaged by storms, or even of the United States cities hit hard by floods. But certainly at the top of anyone’s list would be Iraq—what with the ongoing effects of prolonged military combat—and, of course, our own New Orleans.
